What data we process

Depending on how you use our website, we process the following categories of personal data:

  • Information you submit via the inquiry form: contact person's name, company name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), and optional message text.
  • Metadata of files you attach to an inquiry (file name, size, type). The contents of attached files are not stored long-term and are used solely to forward your inquiry to the manufacturer.
  • Strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function: the session cookie (sessionid), CSRF protection (csrftoken), and language preference (django_language).
  • Technical data about your access (in particular your IP address, browser type, request time and contents) processed by our server logs and error-tracking tool.

Purposes of processing and legal basis

We process personal data only for specific and legitimate purposes:

  • Handling your inquiry and subsequent communication: the legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and the performance of that contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Fulfilment of tax and accounting obligations: the legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation under Czech Act No. 563/1991 Coll. on accounting, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Website security and error tracking: the legal basis is our legitimate interest in the proper and secure operation of the service, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Recipients and processors

We may share your personal data, to the extent necessary, with the following processors with whom we have concluded a written data processing agreement:

  • Transactional email delivery provider: used to send inquiry confirmations.
  • Application error-tracking provider, which may process IP addresses and technical details of failing requests.
  • Cloud object storage provider: stores auto-generated technical drawings of the rack, which contain no personal data.
  • Content delivery network (CDN) providers that serve fonts and JavaScript libraries directly to your browser; when a page loads, they receive your IP address and user-agent information.

Some processors are established outside the European Economic Area. Transfers to these countries take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46 GDPR.

Retention period

We retain inquiry data and related correspondence for the duration of the business relationship and then for 5 years after its end, primarily to comply with obligations under Section 35 of Czech Act No. 563/1991 Coll. on accounting. Technical logs and error records are kept for no longer than 12 months.

With regard to the personal data we process, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: you may ask us to confirm whether we are processing your personal data and to provide you with a copy (Article 15 GDPR).
  • Right to rectification: you may request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data (Article 16 GDPR).
  • Right to erasure: under the conditions set out in GDPR, you may request deletion of your data (Article 17 GDPR).

  • Right to data portability: you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format (Article 20 GDPR).
  • Right to object: where we process data on the basis of legitimate interest, you may object to that processing (Article 21 GDPR).
